🚶 Quest 1: Rehab & Recovery

Right now the main thing is getting my body moving properly again. Daily walks, ankle recovery, and rebuilding consistency without pretending I am further along than I am.

Bodyslims starts on 29 April, which means walking stops being optional and starts being part of the job. Simple enough.

  • Daily walks as the baseline
  • Ankle rehab and steady progression
  • Complete the LOTR Conqueror challenges
  • Build momentum before proper training returns

💻 Quest 2: Year of Code

Back into the code properly. React, freeCodeCamp, and actually finishing what I started instead of leaving tabs open like they count as progress.

The goal is still the same... daily output, stronger fundamentals, and projects that stand on their own without a sales pitch attached.

  • Return to React with intent
  • Push forward on remaining FCC certs
  • Keep the GitHub streak alive
  • Build proof, not excuses

Year of Code completes: 3 August

🥩 Quest 3: Health

Health is not just "eat less" anymore. It is building a system... food vault, repeatable meals, better decisions, less chaos.

I am learning what I can eat, what I should eat, and what actually helps me slim down while still giving me proper nutrition and energy.

  • Build out the food vault
  • Figure out repeatable meals that actually work
  • Learn what helps, what stalls, and what is just noise
  • Reduce friction around eating well

📦 Quest 4: Minimalism

I am upgrading the environment I live and work in. Less clutter. Less duplication. Less stupid friction.

This means stock-taking what I own, reorganising the place, and making sure the room actually supports the life I am trying to build instead of fighting it.

  • Upgrade the environment piece by piece
  • Stock-take possessions properly
  • Reorganise the flat with function in mind
  • Keep what is useful, remove what is not

🧠 Quest 5: Social Dynamics

Still working on social dynamics. Not to become fake, slick, or weirdly polished... just to get better at reading the room without abandoning myself in the process.

Some environments reward directness. Some punish it. Useful to know the difference before opening my mouth.

  • Better calibration in vague environments
  • More awareness of timing, tone, and signal
  • Learn when to push and when to redirect
  • Improve without turning into a salesman

🗺 Quest 6: Planning the Next Steps

The bigger target is still there, but this part is about planning properly rather than vaguely "wanting things" and hoping momentum does the rest.

Career, health, independence, output... the next steps need to be chosen deliberately, based on the year target rather than mood.

  • Use the year target as the reference point
  • Decide what matters next and in what order
  • Make cleaner decisions with better timing
  • Turn vague direction into actual checkpoints
