Bodyslims Pre-Game… Getting Back To My Previous Starting Position

I was 19st 11lbs the first time round - pre TRT body composition

I’m booked in for Bodyslims starting April 29th, 2026. The goal before I even step in the door… get back under 20 stone. Not because it’s required. Because it makes sense.

Last time I did Bodyslims in 2023, I started around that point and dropped fast. That was before I knew I had Klinefelter’s. Before TRT. Before I understood what my baseline actually is.

Looking back at photos from then versus now… there are differences. Subtle to most people. Obvious to me.

So the system this time won’t be identical. TRT improves everything… but it comes with appetite. Real appetite. The kind that doesn’t negotiate. A constant noise.

Ozempic keeps that in check… but only just. I’m on the lowest possible dose… enough to bring hunger back to normal, not suppress it; I am not diabetic, it is simply a counter measure to the negative side effect of my hormone replacement therapy.

If I overeat, even slightly, the whole thing unravels. It’s not a safety net. It’s a padlock… and I’m the one leaving the gate open. So this phase is about control.

🧱 Environment First

Before discipline… environment.

I can plan this properly now:

  • Clear out the junk food 🗑️
  • Stock food that actually fits the plan 🥩
  • Remove friction instead of relying on willpower

No heroics. Just fewer bad options.

🍽️ Eating Windows

I’ll be running roughly 1600 kcal once I start. So now I taper down into it instead of falling off a cliff on day one.

Structure will be simple:

  • 1 eating window per day
  • 2 to 3 course meals
  • Built to fit within calories, not guessed at

Same foods most days. Boring is fine. Predictable is better. The goal is not variety. The goal is compliance.

🚶 Movement… One Step at a Time

Walking is mandatory. So I’m tying it to something that doesn’t feel like a chore. I’ll be continuing the Lord of the Rings Conqueror Challenges. I’ve just about finished The Shire. Next step… somewhere further down the road to Mordor.

Doesn’t matter which one I pick. What matters is that I keep moving. Each day is just a little closer.

Right now I’m still rebuilding from injury. Walking properly is still something I’m earning back. That’s fine. It counts all the same.

🛌 Sleep… The Reset Button

Sleep fixes more than people want to admit. So I’ll be tightening that up too:

  • Earlier nights 🌙
  • Reasonable mornings ☀️
  • Less drifting

Nothing extreme. Just consistent.

📋 The Actual Plan

This phase is not the transformation. This is the setup.

  • Lower intake gradually
  • Clean the environment
  • Lock in walking
  • Fix sleep

So when April 29th hits, I’m not negotiating with myself. I’m already in motion.

🎯 The Point

Last time, 70 days felt long. But I remember how it ended. Different energy. Different mindset. Different person. That’s what I’m aiming at again. Not just lighter. Sharper.

⚙️ Now

Right now… I’m just getting back under 20 stone. Everything else comes after.
